Novus is proud to announce collaboration with Room 17. They will provide daily FUN and hands on math activities for all campers to explore in order to avoid summer learning loss! All activities promote fluency and can be enjoyed at home!
2023 Summer Programs
FIVE WEEKS OF EXCITING PROGRAM CHOICES
Weekly programs run
Monday-Thursday 9:00-4:30PM
Friday 9:00-4:00
(with the exception of week two July 5-7th)
Programs tailored for students
entering 3rd through 6th grade.
Programs are not appropriate for younger children.
EACH FULL WEEK ONLY $300
Week 2 is $185 and only 3 days due to July 4th holiday.
Multi Week and Sibling Discount Available Upon Request.

Ooey Gooey Chemical Reactions & Tech Titans
Instructor: Deborah Rogers
Week One: June 26th-June 30th
Ooey Gooey Chemical Reactions
Students will explore the world of chemistry. They will have the chance to see firsthand how chemical reactions work. Each experiment will be safe for all students.
Tech Titans
Each day students will have the opportunity to try out some amazing high-tech devices such as Oculus Rift, Makey Makey circuit boards and Finch robot coding.
Stop Motion Animation & Creation Station:
Instructor: Leah Zinsky
Week Two: July 5th-July 7th
Wed-Fri (ONLY 3 DAYS DUE TO JULY 4th HOLIDAY)
Stop Motion Animation: Spend part of your week creating and directing your own short stop motion animation film. Write, direct, create and film an amazing masterpiece.
Creation Station: A hands on adventure that offers campers the opportunity to create, build and investigate activities based on their interest. Campers will have free choice stations that offer STEAM activities, building creations and many art mediums.

Full STEAM Ahead & Spectacular Scientist
Instructor: Leah Zinsky
Week Three: July 10th-14th
Full STEAM Ahead
Taking STEAM fun to the next level by testing your engineering abilities in building and imagination. From marble runs to zany sculptures and so much more in between. There will also be a few slime opportunities!!!!
Spectacular Scientist: The second half of your day will be spent trying your hand at various science careers that are STEAM themed. Each day we will focus on various activities in science careers, from archeologist to botanist.
Ooey Gooey Two & Epic Engineering

Week Four: July 17th-21st
Ooey Gooey Two
The ooey gooey keeps on coming with hands on opportunities with the gross and amazing world of chemical reactions. The activities will be different from week one. Each experiment will be safe for all students.
Epic Engineering
Each day students will create engineering wonders. Build a masterpiece homemade circuit robot, explore the world of flight, and master a marshmallow launcher.
Master Chef & Using Up Supplies
Instructor: Deborah Rogers
Week five July 24-July 28th
Master Chef: Half your day will be spent creating food masterpieces. You will create everything from beautifully decorated cakes to homemade mac and cheese. All food creations will be nut free and can be altered to meet special dietary needs.
Using Up Supplies: The final week of camp is always the most inventive. Campers have the chance to direct their learning and dive into so many projects based on what supplies are left. They will also have the opportunity to use all the tech devices that Novus offers such as Makey Makey, Oculus Rift and interactive programs on our tablets
